Salary: £39,000+ per year, plus overtime

DS Refrigeration is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team.

This is a varied role involving the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems across a wide range of customer sites throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

We are looking for an engineer who takes pride in their work, has strong fault-finding skills and can deliver a professional service to our customers.

The Role

As a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer, you will work on a variety of commercial systems and customer sites, carrying out installation, servicing and reactive repairs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
• Carrying out servicing and planned maintenance
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
• Commissioning new equipment and ensuring systems are operating correctly
• Carrying out electrical and refrigeration fault-finding
• Identifying potential issues and recommending appropriate solutions
• Completing service reports and job documentation accurately
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Working independently while managing your daily workload
• Travelling to customer sites throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland
• Following company health & safety procedures and industry best practices

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a commercial refrigeration and/or air conditioning engineer
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• F-Gas certification
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience with installation, servicing and repairs
• Good understanding of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Professional approach with good customer service skills
• Willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland
