Salary: £32,000+ per year, plus overtime

DS Refrigeration is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced and motivated PPM Engineer to join our growing team.

As a PPM Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The role is ideal for an engineer who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently and wants to be part of a growing company with a varied customer base.

The Role

You will carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, helping our customers maximise equipment performance, improve reliability and minimise costly downtime.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Servicing, inspecting and maintaining a wide range of equipment
• Identifying potential faults and recommending remedial works where required
• Completing maintenance reports and service documentation accurately
• Ensuring equipment is operating safely, efficiently and within required parameters
• Liaising professionally with customers and providing a high standard of service
• Working independently while managing your daily workload and scheduled visits
• Travelling to customer sites across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland
• Following company health & safety procedures and industry best practices

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with commercial refrigeration and/or air conditioning systems
• F-Gas certification
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• A professional and reliable approach
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland
